The Men Vascular Health program consists of:
- Cardiology consultation - performed by Conf. Univ. Dr. Roxana Darabont, Dr. Diana Mihalcea, Dr. Andreea Ivanescu or Dr. Simona Visoiu.
- Echocardiography - performed Conf. Univ. Dr. Roxana Darabont, Dr. Diana Mihalcea, Dr. Andreea Ivanescu or Dr. Simona Visoiu.
- Carotid and vertebral arteries ultrasound - performed by Conf. Univ. Dr. Roxana Darabont, Dr. Diana Mihalcea or Dr. Simona Visoiu.
- Total abdominal ultrasound - performed by Dr. Simona Ichim.
- Resting electrocardiogram
- Body assessment (TANITA)
- Vascular Stiffness Measurement (Popmeter)
- All 3 are performed by a general nurse.
Laboratory tests:
- Serum glucose
- Lipid profile
- C-reactive protein (CRP)
- ESR
- Serum creatinine
- Uric acid serum
- Blood count with leukocyte formula, Hb, Ht, indices and reticulocytes
- PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen)
The program runs for two days:
- On the first day, blood is collected for analysis
- Medical investigations are performed on the second day
